Our new ladybugs consist of a delicious milk couverture shell filled with almond and nut nougat, decorated with a ruby chocolate back and with the typical dots of dark chocolate!

What is Ruby chocolate?

Ruby chocolate is a new type of chocolate, such as milk or bitter chocolate. It is not an artificially pink colored white chocolate or added with berry flavors, but it is obtained from the so-called ruby cocoa bean. The unique "Ruby" cocoa beans cannot be grown until now and get their unique color by roasting and fermenting with a certain technique. The cocoa trees for Ruby grow in Ecuador, Brazil and the Ivory Coast and are then processed into pink chocolate.

During processing, a little citric acid is added so that the Ruby chocolate retains its flavor and beautiful color for longer.
